This product is compatible with TVs that have HDMI ARC Optical or AUX audio output. Please check your TV's available audio ports and current usage before purchasing.

Will my TV speakers or soundbar still have sound when using this product?

It depends on your TV and connection method. With Optical (OPT) TV speakers usually work via TV settings and soundbars also play through OPT Passthrough; other audio outputs may not allow simultaneous playback with the headphones.

Is this suitable for an 80-year-old grandparent?

It can be suitable for seniors who want clearer TV dialogue and volume boost; however it is not a hearing aid and not intended for severe hearing loss.

Can I use the headphones by themselves such as with a phone?

Yes. The headphones can be used independently with phones or tablets via Bluetooth when not watching TV.

Can two people use headphones together to watch TV?

Yes the transmitter base supports connecting up to two Opera Plus headphones at the same time allowing two people to watch TV together with independent volume control.

Plug the transmitter into a power outlet and connect to your TV's audio output port.

Power on the transmitter and the headphones. They will automatically connect.

Switch your TV's audio settings to “PCM / Stereo.”

Sit back relax and enjoy!

Go to: Settings > Sound > Sound Output select Bluetooth Speaker List.

Slide power switch to Bluetooth/Phone → enter pairing mode automatically. If not press & hold play/pause until LED blinks red & blue.

Select "Avantree Opera Plus" from TV's Bluetooth list and wait for "Connected"
