1. Most blade edges are stamped out with sharp corners, which is not ideal for mud flow. LEVEL5 skimming blades have a rounded profile on the front edge, allowing for smoother compound application compared to competitors.

2. The unique shape of the LEVEL5 skimming blade insert reduces lap marks by raising the edge at both ends and rounding the corners. This is especially beneficial when smoothing out larger areas.
