Insert barbed fitting and slide PEX copper ring over PEX pipe.
Take PEX crimper and place it over the crimp ring. Squeeze the PEX crimper with enough pressure to crimp the crimp ring tightly onto the PEX tubing.
Take the Go / No-Go Gauge and check if crimping is adequate.
Cut the fitting assembly from the tubing using a pipe cutter. The cut should be close to the fitting.
Squeeze tool handles to cut right through the copper ring.
Rotate the tool 120° - 180° to the uncut portion of the crimp ring and close the tool enough to cause the ring to open up.
Copper crimp ring and PEX fitting are removed.

How to Avoid Leaks when Installing PEX?
Pressure test and monitor the system as required by local building codes. If there’s a leak somewhere in the system, temperature gauge will give a lower reading than initially. Always use a Go-No-Go gauge to test the PEX connections for accuracy.
How to Remove PEX Copper Crimp Ring?
Removing the copper crimp rings requires a bit of effort and care must be taken to ensure the fitting is not damaged if it is going to be reused. When a ring needs to be removed from fittings the use of a ring cutting tool makes the job easier.
Pinch Clamps vs. Crimp Rings?
Both ways are economical and reliable PEX connection methods. The most primary difference during operation is you can have one tool works with all sizes of pinch clamps. Crimp Tools require different jaw sizes to install different size tubings.
